A practical approach to optimal design of multichannel oversampled warpedcosine-modulated filter banks (CMFB) is proposed. Warped CMFB is obtained byallpass transformation of uniform CMFB. The paper addresses the problems ofminimization amplitude distortion and suppression of aliasing componentsemerged due to oversampling of filter bank channel signals. Proposedoptimization-based design considerably reduces distortions of overall filterbank transfer function taking into account channel subsampling ratios.
